Neutral Glass Filter

Provides automatic homogeneous brightness and constant color temperature during change of objectives: the neutral glass filter for the Axioskop 40.

Object Marker

The new solution to mark relevant positions in the object rapidly, inexpensively, and permanently. And it's easy. The Carl Zeiss object marker is screwed into the turret instead of an objective. Simply press the button and the object marker will mark the desired position on the slide with dots or lines. The crystalline ink dries instantly and is clearly visible. A small but clever feature with a great impact on efficiency.

 Ergonomics

The new ergotube of the Axioskop 40 is the result of current scientific studies and the answer when it comes to ergonomy. It works on the principle that the eyepiece should be positioned at a 20° angle. The height of the tube is adjustable within a range of 50 mm and can easily compensate for even extreme differences in height as well as vary viewing height in the course of a long working day. The familiar inverted image is yet another benefit. And of course there's the price: This investment in ergonomy pays off in many ways.
